New akai Subfactory plugin

Hi, I recently watch a video of Malo Beats. He teased a new plugin call Subfactory.
What do you think ? Maybe a little plugin like Ring the Alarm ? Or more complex Bass plugin ?

You'll probably soon find out as I can only assume they have instructed him to mention that in his video, so would expect it to be released any day now.

The latter

could be very useful to have a bunch of sub basses, live bass tones, and electric bass sounds all in one place along with some synth controls

If you look closely the screen, there are quite few categories like drones, hybrid, 808 , basses etc..

Probably on par with SSL's SubGen....I use it on EVERYTHING! Bring it!

ok so its not an instrument its an fx processor; that cool but a bit of a shame as I was hoping for a cut down version of trillian/trillogy like a bass synth with sub basses as well as acoustic and electric bass sounds.

He says it's an new instrument.

Watching the video it's in the Instruments folder, he then goes into categories of bass and then a sub folder of bass types of that category. In the bottom corner there is an 'Édit Instrument 'option. So looks like an instrument to me, I'm guessing sample based, but one category says 'hybrid', so we can only guess.

ok someone suggested it was based upon SSL's SubGen which is an fx processor; hence why I presumed this was also an FX processor, but interested to see what this is, hopefully by late July we should get a reveal

off topic-ish but i read this threads title as "another sub-satisfactory plugin" rofl.

honestly it wouldn't be a bad marketing line

i aint seen one of his vids in a while but dang homeboy been in the gym i see.

one thing that i struggle with is bass sounds - i dont have an issue making a melody , its just finding the right sound. this bass factory thing sounds cool. any cursory internet sleuthing brought me back to this thread.. ;p

It's an instrument plugin, not an FX.

If it's a plugin it will be nice to be able to have in standalone if available
