From what I have gathered, the only way is copying whole events along with their automation parameters... Is that correct ?

Strangely, the erase function of the sequence's pencil menu offers fine operand selection - down to a category, such as automation, or even a single parameter between specific bars... But in the same menu, the copy function doesn't - Akai moves in wondrous ways !

I will not take advantage of this thread to go off-topic about how nice automation drawing aids would, such as a sinusoid (or whatever wave shape) tool with the q-links setting frequency, amplitude and phase (and the fourth qlink setting wave shape) to produce a pseudo-LFO.

Anyway, looks like copying and pasting only automation between tracks isn't possible, but I post here to get authoritative confirmation because I don't trust my lying eyes all that much.

This is the same foolishness on the Force. shit don't make no damn sense. The mysterious red ninja strikes again!
There was a workaround, but I can't remember. If I do I'll post it.
