Car Use For A Trip

I'm about to go on a 5 hour trip and I was wondering if I could plug my MPC One + into my car outlet. The One needs 12v to power up which I read is the most common and my car plug says 12v on it. I don't wanna mess up my MPC since I just bought it but if I can use it I will. Obviously I won't use it the full 5 hours but I'm just wondering.

Also, I looked up how much my car outlet puts out and it says 100w or more but that should be fine with the power cable that came with the MPC right?

You'd definitely need to make sure you had the right polarity.

Why not just get an inverter and use your regular power cable?

New MPC One is 12V

Buy an inverter. That is the best answer that requires the least amount of work and has the least amount of risk. That’s your go to answer.

Yeah, I think it's a cool move. Some guitar pedal board power supplies output 12V. and my synths are a mix of 9V and 12V generally.

I have the old MPC One though.
