Opinions on "vocal tuner"

What do you guys think of the "vocal tuner" plugin? I've never used auto tune pro x or any software auto-tune type plugins on pc to really make any assessment on it's sound in comparison. Do any of you use it as a staple sound in your works? It's one of those plugins I never see anyone using in their videos and it never gets mentioned so lets talk about it a bit?

I think the vocal tuner on the MPC is one of the nicest sounding ones I’ve heard. I love grabbing vocal samples and running it through the sampler, changing settings and pitching the sample around to find sweet spots.

I've been wondering if it sounds any different on the computer daw vs stand alone. i have never once got the software working on a pc to try it out. have you tried it on the pc side as well?

I only use it on standalone

I think the vocal tuner sounds perfectly fine and usable. As good as anything out there. It lacks direct MIDI control of target notes, but that's kind of a niche feature anyway.
