Hi Everyone (first post here),
I'm a user of an MPC Live II, still using the old operating system (haven't upgraded to MPC 3.0 yet). I'm using it as a DAW replacement (even though I hear MPC3.0 is closer to that). I connect to it a Yamaha Montage M8x via USB MIDI, both for input (Montage keyboard) and for playback of the sounds (sending MIDI out from MPC to Montage) after the recording.
1. Is there a way to edit the modulation wheel MIDI data in the recording? I only see a "velocity" option, but not modulation wheel or other "automation" MIDI data.
2. Is this option (editing modulation wheel automation post recording) covered in the MPC 3.0 (in which case I'd upgrade in a heartbeat)?
3. If the answer is no to both 1 & 2 above, are there any other people who would find this option useful (in which case, we should consider submitting a request to AKAI)?
