Looping issues regarding using an external looper.

Ive been having an issue im not sure how to deal with and im hoping i can explain it properly.

Im creating my beat with the mpc.. and using an external looper to record the audio coming off the mpc. But, after ive finished looping.. i now have 2 tracks looping.
i.e my external looper and the mpc. So it results in double volume because now its playing two loops at once.
How do i stop my mpc from looping itself the moment ive recorded what i want onto my external looper

Turn down the input volume of the external looper or the output volume of the MPC at the end of the loop.

Turn off the loop icon on main screen and it will stop at the end of the sequence

You either have to get the MPC to stop at the same instant as the looper's loop is done. Or mute/reroute the MPC's audio. Depending on what is possible with the looper, can it send MIDI commands, can it receive MIDI commands, is there an external mixer, can it be MIDI-controlled. Turn down the volume knob on the MPC?
