Many MIDI Tracks -> 1 Drum Track: How to get 16 Pad Banks?

Currently recreating the 'one sequence workflow' with Multiple MIDI Tracks routed into a single Drum Program on a single Drum Track.

How do I configure the new MIDI Tracks in Drum Track style, aka: 8 Banks of 16 Pads each?

Right now they default to the Keygroup style and it is proving to be quite annoying.

You can use drums tracks instead of MIDI tracks. The pads line up the, they just don't play since their just dummy drum tracks.

So I can just do the same routing with an empty Drum Track?

Just saw this while trying different ways to have one kit and individual parts across multiple tracks. This is so easy and works exactly the way we want. I created a template, put the kit on track 16 and tracks 1-15 send midi to track 16. Now its hardly any work for future projects.
