Akai MPC Flex Beat Gate Unwanted Distored Noise

Hello,

i have recently got the Flex Beat Plugin.
But when i select any Gate effect, the audio gets like Distored and Crushed.
Not like a Gate. It sounds really bad. Anyone else noticed this? Or am i doing something wrong?

did you find a solution for this? I have a project with some instances of flex beat on tracks and submixes. Project was playing fine. Opened it yesterday with an extra audio track and the right speakers started crackling.. Disabled flex beat, noise was gone. Disabled the audio channel monitoring, but it is still there, very strange...

Sounds like a latency issue. What's the cpu like when its playing (with the crackling going on)? Important bit "while playing". That's generally the issue with crackly plugins, just running outta processing power the real time system kernel prioritizes audio as a high thread priority, and will let you keep smashing the processor until it segfaults.

There was a synth in front of the right speaker that rattled when flex beat was activated and was just perfectly silent otherwise. Weird. And kinda stupid

I wonder why it only affected one speaker. The universe is a strange place.
