Install new expansions onto standalone when running MPC3?

Hi folks

Its been some time since I last installed an expansion on my X standalone, and recently purchased Pad Thai 3, I also recently installed the MPC3 Beta on my X, and I have MPC2 on my PC which im presuming is incompatible with MPC3 Standalone (and I dont see MPC3 Software available)? Does this require a downgrade on the standalone back to MPC2 so that I can install the new expansion?

Mpc3 just uses the existing standalone installation, no action required. Mp software 3 allegedly coming next year, in the meantime controller mode remains at 2.15.1
