Access to standalone projects with MPC 2 software?

Hello MPC Forum,

First of all, I am a newbie in MPC and related stuff.
When I recently saw the capabilities of an MPC Key61 for the first time (Youtube), I was hooked and actually bought one. I used to make music before and then took a long break, but now I've caught the fever again.

So:
After a few difficulties, I have now managed to connect my new MPC Key 61 to my Win10 PC.
The MPC2 software is also running and activated.
However, I can't ‘see’ the projects I've already made in standalone mode on the PC. Is this not intended? Is it even possible to open the standalone projects on the PC? Or are these 2 different things? Additionally, I have installed an additional SATA hard drive in the MPC.

Save your standalone projects to the SATA hard drive and you’ll be able to see and load them in controller mode. The factory internal drive is invisible in controller mode and should be kept purely as read only for your factory expansions

Did you install the drivers for your connected device ?

Did you switch to controller mode on the MPC itself ?

Any connected drives you added to your MPC will show up on your computer after you that .

The problem is: I installed the Key61 driver (Windows10), i installed and activated the MPC2 Software. When i plug in the Key61 (in controller mode), it is recognized by Windows , but i can not see it as a drive in Windows Explorer and i can also not see my projects in MPC2 Software.

What am I doing wrong?

You should be able to see the SATA disk that you installed, only the factory drive is invisible. maybe try a different USB cable and/or USB port.

Thank you. Where should i see the device and or drive?
Because i do not think, that the cable or the port is the problem. When i connect the MPC and start the MPC2 Software, i can control the different knobs on the monitor with the Key61, this means, that the connection should be compeltely established, right? Or am i wrong?

The SATA disk should appear along with all the other drives in 'explorer', perhaps windows will need to install generic USB drivers for it, normally this is done automatically from what I remember, I haven't used Windows for 20+ years. Try connecting a USB drive/USB stick to your MPC Key, it should also appear in Explorer within a few seconds on connecting it.
