I got problems with MPC One+ in controller mode. Using the pads to play sounds in the MPC software (on my Mac) works fine - meaning that when I hit one pad on the MPC one sound plays in the MPC software (which means that using the MPC as a controller works) . But when I hit record the software records two sounds/notes (though I only play one), and during playback of the recording the sounds sounds sort of cut off (as if they were changed into note-on/note off instead of one shots). What could be wrong? How could it be different in record mode?

Do you have the MPC One+ set as the audio device in the settings? I would change it to that and make sure it's not on a soundcard or USB interface or something. Also, get up on standalone mode! It's the best! LOL jk. But yeah, to be serious with you, I would check the sound options and play around with those to see what works. I believe it's in the Preferences menu where you set the bit rate and all that stuff. Also make sure your MPC software is on the most recent version Akai offers. Good luck.
