Midi Drum Patterns

Hello to the Forum
I am very interested in the use of Midi Drum Patterns. (Funky, Jazzy etc..)
There are thousands of sources (for free) on the internet i think.
My question: Can I use any midi file here? Or is this a special format for the Akai MPC Key 61?

And what are good other sources (also to purchase) for other midi patterns in your opinion?

Any midi fits can be used but mpc kits don’t normally use gm mapping so you’ll have to create kits accordingly or transpose the midi.
