Support and discussion for all of Akai’s modern standalone MPCs including the MPC X / X SE, MPC Live 1, 2 & 3, MPC One / One+, MPC Key 37/61.
Haven't been able find anything on this so I'll ask here. Say you have a chord that sustains over the barline. It sounds great until the last chord which gets cut off from looping back around to the beginning of the sequence. Is there any way to make that chord sustain? I am using MPC version 3 on the MPC X.
Thanks!

A chord that sustains over a bar line will continue to sound as long as the sequencer continues to play after the bar line.
When you’re looping you never allow the sequencer to play after the bar line so it won’t work.
If you instead copy the bar(s) so you have as many as you’d like, you would get that sustaining chord.

You could duplicate the patch on another track and play the required chord at the points you need it to sustain over the loop point.
