Nooboe question -roll back/downgrade from V3 to V2

Hi dear Experts,

what a wonderful form here’s my first posting, please excuse grammar and spelling issues, I’m belonging to ze Germans, so there will be mistakes

We upgraded to V3 but due to the better tutorials we and to know the machine in deep we like to revert to V2. Downloaded 2.51 and pushed it to a FAT32 formatted CFcard connected via USB.

AKAI recognizes the external firmware in the preference menu and opts to downgrade. The process seems to pull through, but after a restart it shows V3 again.

What are we doing wrong?

Nevermind we found the solution. It only worked remote with the laptop connected via USB and the Key 61 in slave mode.
