I am having some strange MIDI clock issue with my MPC One. I am trying to replace my old MPC 1000 in my setup, but am having weird sync/latency issues. My setup is like this:

  • Elektron Octatrack sends MIDI clock to the MPC 1000/MPC One
  • The MPC outputs the MIDI to an Eventide Pitchfactor
  • The Eventide Pitchfactor outputs the MIDI to a passive MIDI splitter
  • The MIDI splitter splits the incoming MIDI in three outputs. These are sent to an Elektron Rytm, an Korg Minilogue and a Nord Lead 3

When using the MPC 1000 this works perfectly, but when I replace it with my MPC One (Running MPC 3) I am getting a few issues:

The MIDI clock is still sent to all machines, but for some reason the clock received by the Analog Rytm and the Alesis ION is delayed (so they get offset).
I am really confused by why this happens, and especially why it is not an issue with the MPC 1000 but only the One. Can anyone help?

Update: I tried taking the MIDI splitter and Pitchfactor out, so MIDI goes directly from the the MPC One to the Minilogue, and I have the exact same issue. So there's something about the MIDI clock coming from the MPC One that does not play well with the Minilogue and Analog Rytm... :hmmm:
