3.4 map Qlinks to external MIDI CC

I've asked this on Reddit, no reply. Maybe I'll have more luck here
I use my MPC in a relatively simple way, I just have some samples, create some simple beats and control external hardware. In firmware 2.x I could have a MIDI program where i had the Qlinks set to change CCs for my external hardware. Save the program, and whe I loaded the program I had those Qlinks set up for that synth, ready to go.
I'm probably missing something really simple in the new V3 workflow, but I just want to be able to save Qlink to CC mapping with a MIDI program again, and record the CC changes in my sequence. I can't for the life of me figure out how to do that...

You should be able to do that, but “Program Q-Links” are now Track Q-Links. Create a midi track and then go to the Q-Link edit screen. When you’ve created the program, go to Menu>Save then Midi Program to save the XPM with those mappings.

This^ & after you set up everything create a temple project & save the tracks with the macro as a separate file to be reloaded in other projects.

Thanks, that clarifies it a bit. But unless I misunderstood the method this does not save the QLink mappings. The method below from B-Wise does work though.

This is indeed the way to go, thanks! I saved the Track save and it retains the QLink settings + any other relevant settings such as MIDI Channel,output port etc.
