How Akai has not even integrated their own controllers with MPC out-of-the box mappings is beyond my understanding - such a low-hanging fruit...

Nice! So now I can use my mpk mini plus pre mapped for Kontakt/Kontrol...both of which are VST3 so have to use a wrapper on MPC software?
(Which I've successfully been doing for a while now, but also acquired a few of their instruments that they want me to re-buy to use on my MPC standalone lol)

It's cool to see NI opening up to other controllers, but to a degree I hate that there was never an agreed upon standard for preset mapping and browsing to begin with. I appreciate DAWs like Bitwig and Live that developed their own preset mapping system you can configure yourself. KK and NKS is in a long line of depreciated attempts at this like Novations Automap and Akais own VIP. There will be a time when the Komplete Kontrol VSTi/AUi plugin stops being developed, just like Kore, Absynth, Rig Kontrol, Komplete Kontrol 1, etc. etc.
