Wonder what enhanced midi recording and playback means? Maybe involves fixing the note off bug.

Wireless expansion transfer would be good but I suspect it with be limited to official akai expansions only, imo just open up wireless file transfers for all user files and include backup system

You would think!.... Maybe constant Midi Clock too?

Made a ticket about the midi note difference in main screen and stepnsequencer. Hope they fix it. Would love midi pad mute and global midi controller mapping.

Ok, maybe they are going to fix the midi note off bug, improve midi clock and polish midi architecture after 7 years.

For the rest, as we say in Azerbaijan, it's fried air.

I would like immediate MIDI pass-through, without the 10 millisecond extra delay on the Force. With the kind of MIDI processing I have, the Force adds at least 20 milliseconds delay to simple MIDI events, it makes no sense. If I'm not using plugins, why does the Force have to keep MIDI events in some delay buffer.

1. Hopefully MIDI will be expanded similar to keygroups and (hopefully) CV.

2. MPC is already running an internal boost capable webserver with 4 ports opened:
:80 regular http (you may actually connect to mpc via webbrowser now)
:53 - something that looks like DNS resolution
:41401 / :51000 some unkinown services - they might be APIs, custom services, or proprietary protocols. My quick investigation came to a conclusion they might expect an SSL/TLS connection, but it's not completing the handshake properly.

going to be Arturia-esque content download directly with the plugin itself or directly from the browser. This is the actual button pulled from MPC.

There are videos about enhanced CV tracks. IIRC a note can trigger an envelope on a CV out.

I hope for revamped XY macros. With rows and columsn that down overlap (that's silly), with colours so you know where one area starts and the other begins, etc.

Clip mode is still missing. So far I haven't heard it's gone for good so it might come back.

I can see them unifying the force and mpc os into one, turning on and off features that work better with each piece of hardware. Force will get stems and all the currently missing plugins while (hopefully) mpc will get audio and midi clips.

Yes, I want stems, the improved drum program editor, KGXL, & most of the missing plugs. Some wanted Flex Beat, but I think that could be emulated with the Force marcos & that it's more of the MPC way to compensate for lacking those Force marco, but I could be wrong. Oh yeah the new MPC3 main screen & Arranger extra info would be nice on the Force, also having more than 1 Arranger is desirable.

So the old Dan Gill plan has come to fruition; after much speculation that the roadmap had changed, but it was all just a detour to get some extra revenue selling plugins and soundpacks.

But that's all crap and marketing hype by Akai. No MPC user ever asked for it and nobody likes the new stuff.
