Hi team,
In need for a bit of help here please, something is acting up on the mpc one.
Using an akai midimix and wanted to midi map its knobs for use.
So I’ve switched back to 2.15 to write a live set and make use of programms again, an apparently I can’t work without them.

So the midimix is mapped as following:
8 faders go to pads a1 to a8, Layer-level-1 (I use this volume setting as it doesn’t boost the samples above the 0db levels)

Top 8 rotaries are for pads a1 to a8 env-decay
(808 drum samples to keep things simple at first)

And then I routed the audio to subbus1 and there I placed the air channel strip for a bit compression but foremost for the eq, fixed settings for the frequencies but 4 rotaries for the gains (the fourth is the gain in total)

When adding these 4 extra cc’s the mpc can’t handle this, and the addressed buttons of the plugin are going bonkers and flipping all over the place (like with automation armed and twisting the hell out of the buttons)
I didn’t recorded it, it isn’t visible in the sequence, and even when the sequence is stopped, these buttons are still rotating when looking at the plugin in the screen
How????

So I thought, do it again but this time not with the air channel strip, but just the simple hpf and lpf,,, same story unfortunately .

Does anyone know what this could be??

Many thanks in advance
Danny

Browse, INTERNAL, MPC Documents, MIDI Learn, I deleted any/all contents of this folder (NOT THE FOLDER itself).
I did this before creating any mappings.
I've had zero mapping problems after doing this.

I think I got it covered,,,
So I can recreate this, and it looks like when assigning a couple of parameters right after each other,, like 5 of them ,, and already have more than 16 cc’s in the template active,, they start to act up.

The fix : save and reboot
Than its working perfectly even multiple controllers.

Hope it helps someone

Cheers
