Midi Synch Issues With MPC Key 37

I recently purchased the Key37 and am experiencing midi synch issues with my DAW (Reaper). I should note that I also own an MPC One (running version 2.15.1) and in song mode midi synch works flawlessly. The Key 37 was running version 3.4.2 when I purchased it and in song mode midi synch was buggy to the point of pretty much useless. So I tried downgrading the key 37 to version 2.15.1 to see if that might improve the synch, but sadly it was even worse. I recently tried upgrading both MPC's to version 3.4.3 and both MPC's were worse with midi synch. I am synching my projects with a midi controller since I have found that USB midi is pretty much garbage for midi synch. I also have 2 midi controllers and have tried switching them to see if the problem might be one of the controllers, but the issue is the same, so the controllers are fine. So I have now come to a dead end with this issue Any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated
