Mpc live mk2 running 3.0

When I change sequence, there's an audible gap, before the next sequence starts.

Normal behavior should be trails of any effects and no gaps in audio, correct?

If it helps, I have arranged the sequences, they are all between 8 and 64 bar sequences, and there's no weird timings of track sequences (in terms of beats), or weird samples, etc

Thanks in advance. :smoker:

Depends on your polyphony settings - maybe the sample triggered at the start of the sequence is choking up the one/ones playing at the end of the sequence

In the past, EVERYTIME I've encountered this, its polyphony, just as you described it.

Changing polyphony is only part of it.
How many events are happening at once? Polyphony.
How many notes are so long they eat up polyphony? Polyphony.
You have more to check in to.

Are you using many cpu heavy plugins?

Are your samples not chopped correctly?
Is your timing off-center?

you should explain a bit better. what does that really mean? do you hear some noises getting cut off before the sequence change? it's not clear what exactly is going on.
and how are you changing sequence? song mode? next sequence mode? just in the main screen?

I have this problem as well. Even with a very light sequence where polyphony isn’t a problem. I have used the next seq mode a lot in previous firmwares , but it is broken for me now. I am writing with support , and they tell me to downgrade to 2 and gradually update again to 3. Hopefully that will fix it .
It doesn’t seem like everyone has this issue , because there isn’t many posting about this

So if anyone having this issue, I would recommend to downgrade to 2.15, and then update again. That fixed it for me. Dont know if my internet was funky the first time I updated or what, but everything is smooth now.

I am also having this issue, and struggling to find a solution. I'm running MPC 3.6.0 on a MPC One +. I've reduced the polyphony on all sample instruments and plug-ins and tidied up all audio samples to ensure no overlaps. I have also reduced CPU load by using less FX across the mix. The CPU load only peaks at 28-30%, but I'm still experiencing digital glitches when moving into a new sequence. Really frustrating tbh, especially when using live.

Yeah, seems like this older bug has returned in 3.6, it doesn't affect all projects though, there seems to be something unique triggering it. I'm hoping to investigate it further today as I have a project which is not affected on an earlier backup version, but is affected on a later version (pretty much identical except it now has a couple more tracks, but deleting those tracks doesn't fix it). I also wonder if it also happens with completely new projects or just older (e.g. 3.5) projects being loaded into 3.6

Good to know that I'm not alone! For info, the project in question did start in 3.5 and was then loaded into 3.6, so it could be helpful to know if that is at the route of it. Interesting to know that it doesn't seem to affect all projects. Anything you find out could be useful to know of course! I'll also keep updating on here as I trouble shoot.
