Hello there,

Since upgrading to MPC 3 on my standalone MPC One, I've been working on a project.

I did a 'save as' and simply added a '1' at the end of the original project name, so that I could work on a new version, and if anything went wrong, revert to the original.

Now the new version is not opening...I've tried lots of other projects (both those that were created on using MPC 3 and older ones) and they all work fine. This is the only one that doesn't open...unfortunately it's the one I have made most progress with and the one I need to finish asap...I can revert to the older version, but I'll be missing a fair amount of work on the project...

Any ideas? I have also updated firmare to 3.4 and I tried the settings reset, but nothing has worked so far.

Moreover, I'm worried that this could happen with any project I save in the future.

Anyone else having similar issues?

Thanks

I should add that the new version was working for a while after I created it. I was able to work on the project, close it, open it again. Then all of a sudden it just stopped opening

I guess that could work if in the first place I had originally renamed the project folder using my laptop.

But I didn't do that, I saved the project under a new name, so I don't think that applies.

Just to recap:

Created a project, saved it as 'ord'
Wanted a second version to play with, so on my mpc, menu / save as 'ord1'
'Ord1' was working fine, spent a lot of time working on the track, but now it no longer opens

So now the only working version I have is the first project 'ord' which is far less developed. If I rename 'ord1' to ord, wouldn't it overwrite it? And if that doesn't work, maybe I'd lose the only version I have!?

Most of all, this is quite worrying...surely it's normal to save different versions of a project to make different tracks?!
