MPC X and Roland Juno X incompatibility?

Hello,
I tried to connect my MPC X SE (ver 3.4.3) with my Roland Juno X using a USB cable, in order to use the Juno internal speakers as audio output.

But on the MPC when I tried to select the Juno as Audio Device I got a “audio device error” with this list : U24_BE, S32_LE, S32_BE, U32_LE, U33_BE, FLOAT_BE, FLOAT64_LE, FLOAT64_BE

What does it means : a USB driver trouble in the MPC?
Does someone already succeed to set the MPC audio device to a Juno X (or other Roland syntheziser)?

You need a mixer and speakers.

Why spend thousands on a high-end instrument like the MPC X and then try to use it with cheap, incompatible synth speakers?

Yeah, I think maybe the Roland stuff is not (fully) USB Audio Class Compliant - I have same issue with my Fantom EX (neither this not the Juno X is a 'cheap speaker'...!) - It also seems that MPC has to connect at 44.1kHz only, which is a shame as the Behringer Flow is 48kHz only (otherwise might be a good combo there). - it would have been great to have all the virtual tracks on the Fantom sent digitally into the MPC via USB to be mixed.

Page 39 of the Roland X manual says you have to install drivers, ie its not class compliant which means it won't work with the MPC, only a PC/Mac.

I wanted to do that because :
1/ normally using USB audio is a very easy way to transmit audio without using other cable that this USB cable that I use for MIDI.
2/ Even if Roland Juno X speakers are not Hi-Fi, they are not bad at all.
3/ I do not have any other speakers for now.
So as you see, each person has its own constraints.

Yes it seems to there is no possibility with Roland. What a pity!

That's not totally true. I use my fantom ex class compliant on Linux without any problem. The main pb why it's not usable is that the Roland synth interna soundcard is set at 48khz and MPC work only on 44.1
