Saving keygoup individual instruments in Favs

Could someone please tell me if its possible on an mpc keys to save a particular key group instrument to favs on v3
I have done the googles and some results say you can do it via the favs, hold down blank space route but as far as I am aware that only works for instrument plug ins, I get "no plug in loaded" when I try it.
I know I could create a favs folder on my sd card and resave a kind of "best of" collection of keygoup instruments but seems a bit inefficient.

the 'best of' folder is the only way that i know of, Save your instruments to that folder and add it as a favourite folder in the sounds browser. Can also add it as a shortcut in the file browser
