Hi, I am sampling a JV 2080 into my mpc which works fine until I switch to sampler mode and the sound is pitched way down when played through the sampler.
How can I have the sampler play back the sample when triggered from the pads at correct pitch?
Thanks in advance for any help

If you are using the pads, hit padbank a b c or d and try again.

There is an "auto-sample" mode in the sampler you can use to step through notes in a module that samples each then turns it into a keygroup. You can sample every note, or set a span to save space on samples but the inbetweens get pitched.

if you just wanna lay down some shit on your track with your jv2080 as an instrument. open an audio track and a midi track, go to the mixer and set both lanes to "merge" now when you record the audio track you should be able to trigger your module from the pads. If that's what you are after.
