When starting recording, the first loop occurs in record mode - then subsequent iterations overdub. I sometimes find that annoying when stray late notes from my sloppy playing pollute the loop's beginning - requiring some annoying fiddly deleting.
Is there any way to punch out automatically at then end of first loop iteration, instead of automatically switching to overdub mode ?
I'm spending more time on my RC-505 mk2, which gives choice between "record then overdub" and "record then play", and that experience leads me to believe that it would make my use of the MPC One as a MIDI looper more comfortable.
Akai plz. - this is the sort of configuration option that won't cost you much !
