I can't think of a reason this wouldn't be possible beyond "AKAI will never do it"

Why not designate specific folders of the wifi units to synch to a cloud location while they're connected? It'd save me from having to carry my SD card between my home MPC and my studio MPC!

money.

who will pay for this? inmusic or the end user? if the latter, it wont be enough end users to justify the extra expense on the back end. plus if the cloud is down or the end user's internet is out, and they have to get their taylor swift and kayne collaboration mix out of the cloud for a midnight session, and they cant, they gonna sue inmusic, clown them on social media, and it wont be good.

ive got 2 xse's - one at the office and one at my project studio at home. both have 4tb ssd's and are mirrored via a manual backup. when i need to take a project from my home into the office and vice -versa, i either use an sd card or upload to my 5tb of google cloud drive. i then put the xse in controller mode and download the file(s) from google drive to the Xse. painless and simple.

all you need to say is "AKAI will never do it" and we understand

"painless and simple." -- :hdmi: :smoker:

Gmail gives 15GB of storage. You can a project to it at the studio & download it when you get home. Not as fancy but it saves you from carrying your SD card. Or you can get an USB to C-USB adapter & hookup your phone to the MPC & save stuff to & from your phone. Your phone hard drive pops up as an another drive option on the MPC.
