Hi. I m going to keep this short. I’m trying to be patient with Akai to address major issues with the 3.5 beta. Having no 3.x plugin version to match the standalone is devastating to my workflow. Does anyone know when they’re going to release another update correcting some of the bugs?

Thanks in advance

I never found a good way to do my work with 2.x. when the arranger came out, it was kind of a miracle, i could do so much and I worked a lot since then. But then I discovered so many bugs I cannot even imagine why they don't work night and day to solve them.
Nevertheless I cannot go back to the 2.x anymore

I'm in the same camp. 3.0's arranger window and mixer were welcome additions for me, and there's a lot that I like about the direction development is going in but the amount of bugs I run into has become tedious and frustrating to say the least. Hard to imagine how they took this out of beta cause it's not close to being ready for prime time.

IMO they almost certainly took it out of beta (in name only) because they wanted to launch it at NAMM alongside the NI plugins, and having a beta tag would have been a bad look for such a big, fanfare release

And I assume they launched the public ‘beta’ of the DAW because they promised a May public beta, but it’s clearly not even a beta, it’s an alpha and certainly not suitable for public consumption IMO.

the missing time signatures aside, does USB MIDI Out work on 3.x ?

I mean, compliant, plug and play? not talking abot controller mode on Winows Mac, just normal USB MIDI.

So what I want to do is use the MPC as a sequencer, and send out MIDI with USB.

Basically what the Akai advertisement suggested to me as functional in 2.x but doesnt actually work that way , unless I am missing something (?).

I haven't bothered with the desktop beta. I found 2.x software gui to be pretty hard to get around, doesn't look like they're improving it.

Not encouraging that inMusic rushed the release of 3 standalone and have yet to really fix it's glaring problems. Really bad look.
