Does changing track from Keygroup to Drum delete my program?

Hi,

Is it correct that if I have a track set to "Keygroup", spend time making a nice instrument, and then change the track to "Drum" the instrument is lost forever if I save the project and turn off the MPC? The lack of "programs" is really confusing to me, so wanting to make sure I understand it correctly.

Sorry if for the noob question, still trying to wrap my head around the MPC One workflow.

Yes, changing track type will wipe the existing track, so hit undo if you make that mistake as there is no program stored in memory. Definitely some workflow adjustments needed when it comes to programs/tracks.
