Okay so don't kill me if this is already been answered because I don't even know how to search for it to be honest with you because of having so many problems.

When I first got the MPC key 61 everything was working fine, I was able to record my songs and make multiple tracks and everything was wonderful. Then I updated to 3.0 and this is where my problems began.

My problems didn't begin right off the bat they kind of gradually start happening, at first I started noticing that different notes would be continued to be played when I would change sounds and it would make weird glitchy sounds, to eventually the problem that I have now is that every single sound I select has a global setting of a warble and modulation to it.
It doesn't happen all the time it's just random sometimes it happens whenever I push the keys too hard and I figure it's something to do with the aftertouch or the velocity settings but I've checked every single setting I can find, I have checked all the velocity settings I have checked all the pitch fending settings and the modulation settings but this isn't a problem that I'm having with just one plug in this happens globally across the entire sounds of all the plugins.

I will record a song and it will record just fine and I will use the multitrack function and everything will be working just fine but then when I go back to play my songs back again if I have the song playing and I switch tracks to edit a track, it will literally detune the track that I switched to, or if it doesn't detune it it will pitch it up an octave and then if I go back to the previous track sometimes it will take that octave back down on the other track but other times it doesn't.

I will have a song that was recorded perfectly with multiple tracks but then randomly one of my tracks will go completely out of tune like literally Out of tune with the other tracks that are being played.
Now granted it doesn't do this all the time it just randomly does it whenever it wants to but it will completely ruin my playback of my pre-recorded songs to the point to where they're not even listenable because all the different tracks are going in different octaves, some might be wobbling and making modulation or pitch bending sounds, and some of them are just completely out of tune with the other ones!

I'm exasperated I've been looking for a solution to fix all of this and I just can't find one anywhere and I don't even know if anyone else has had this problem other than me.

I tried downgrading it to an earlier version of MPC 3 but it still is doing it.

If anybody knows how to fix this I would be extremely grateful for the insight.

Note:
When I say modulation I misspoke earlier what I meant to say was tremolo effect. It puts tremolo effect on everything across the board to the point to where I can't even play almost any instrument on any plug-in without an added tremolo effect and I've checked the modulation wheel I've pushed it up and down tried to recolorate it check the settings on it everything but nothing seems to stop it it does it right immediately even when I restarted and I have even reset the factory settings multiple times and it just keeps doing it.

Re: Then I updated to 3.0 and this is where my problems began.

You are beta testing, what do you expect?

I am guessing accidental automation.

Yes it's across all plugins globally.
It aromatically adds a tremolo effect to almost every sound and my modulation wheel is completely all the way down and I never had any problems with it prior to probably about a month and a half ago or so.

Well seeing as I had just bought the MPC 61 key, I thought I was just supposed to update to the latest firmware, and I had no idea that it was beta testing I figured if they're going to release something like an update it should be something that's stable not something that's going to be a beta test at least without informing me that it's a beta. When I went on to the update firmware it never asked me if I wanted to update to a beta it just said the latest version so I guess the joke's on me for being a noob

I'll check it but I've never messed with it. I'm still learning how to use it so I'm not even sure what the q links do to be honest with you LOL

Well I would have thought that too but even when I go to reset preferences it doesn't fix it and I even downgraded to the prior version of the firmware and it was still doing it. Do you think it could be hardware related?

If you loaded the same problemed project you'll get the same results
IF it is in fact accidental automation.

Well I've never missed with any of the automation settings and the songs were playing back perfectly and at times they will play back perfectly, it just starts glitching sometimes during playback it's really hard to explain without someone seeing it first hand but I can literally be playing a piano sound isolated by itself and then within the perimeters of me just playing the keys it will just randomly octave shift itself up to the next octave or detune itself to a different tuning and sometimes it'll do that for a few seconds and then fix itself and then other times if I change to the next track in the song The octave will fix itself as if the plus and minus signs that I used to select the track are controlling the octave perimeters setting. I'm telling you it's just like super glitchy and buggy and I feel like I'm probably the only person experiencing this LOL

You are not the only one I bought mine as soon came out and it has that frustrating problem . I seems getting out of tune all the time if I play hard . Need to restart the unit again and sometimes doesn’t work either… so frustrating. Did u find the cure? :vomit:
