mpc one - midi settings?????

New to the forum - thanks for having me!
Has anyone been able to midi link an mc 909 to mpc one?
I am having no luck (usb)

Nah, 909 doesn't receive midi over USB, you'll have to use the midi ports.

I figured it out in the end - simple connection of Midi in (mc-909) to midi out (MPC One) . There are settings on the MC-909 which needed to be changed from MASTER to SLAVE in order for me to control the 909 through the MPC One. I guess it helps to have a manual to hand

I will invest in one of those MIDI to USB Gadgets though!
