MPC Project Templates Not Updated

I have a MPC Live II updated to MPC 3.6 however it seems that the project templates Techno / House / Trap and so on are all MPC 2.0 If I try and start a project using by any of these templates, then it seems to act weird! For example , some MIDI sounds just don’t work and others seem to sound on all tracks so if I hit a Bass plugin pad then another sound from another track also triggers at the same time.
When I chose to load a project template it gives me the option to import 2.0 sequences and this seems to be the only option otherwise you end up with a completely blank project file with no drum tracks, plugins or anything.

I should say that I also have MPC Key 61 and MPC 3.6 and the project templates icons look completely different and load with no problems.

Can anyone suggest what needs to be done to get the 3.6 templates on my MPC Live II?

The factory libraries are not updated when you update the firmware, they were made for MPC2 and I believe that's the way it is likely to stay.

Thanks for reply but how does this apply in the case of the new MPC Live III? Are the factory templates still MPC 2 which are not compatible, or have they created a new set updated to 3.6 ? If so, why are these not available for everyone?
