Send MIDI to DAW (Bitwig) from within MPC 2 plugin (VST 3)

Hey guys,

Just wondering if it's possible to send MIDI notes to Bitwig from the plugin, so I can record and edit MIDI notes within Bitwig itself?

I've set the plugin's record/overdub 'to host DAW,) I've selected 'DAW' in the channel strip and I've set Bitwig to record on the same instrument track as the MPC plugin (so the MIDI input are the MPC Pads) and I've armed the track of course.

Can anybody help please?

Let me update this:

I have installed Akai Pro Internal MIDI now and I've set it to MIDI output in my controllers section of Bitwig. On my instrument track with the MPC plugin, I've enabled Internal MIDI as the input, armed to record, still nothing. Oh and if I start a new MIDI program within the plugin I do see MIDI, but then my audio is elsewhere and not triggering at that point.

The "MPC Software & MPC Beats App" is better suited for questions like that.
