MPC Live 3 - Pre-installed Expansion Problem

Hi Everyone,

First-time poster, longtime lurker.

I am two days into owning and working with MPC Live III, and definitelly do not know what I am doing; so, apologies for the question in advance.

When I load the pre-installed expansion packs Gemini and Orion, they don't sound anything like the preview when they are on the pads; however, all other pre-installed expansion packs, when loaded the same way, do.

I have tried to find the answer in the guide and searched online and on YouTube, and the best answer I can come up with is to delete them and reinstall them.

Would anyone have any ideas on what the problem may be (I know it's probably user error fr) or recommendations?

FYI, I figured it out. The two expansion packs I had issues with for some reason load onto the wrong pad banks by default, unlike all the other pre-installed expansion packs, which load correctly.

I don't rule out user error; however, selecting the pad bank manually after it has been loaded resolves the issue for me.

I am working through The MPC Bible, which has definitely been worth the investment already

Don’t forget to register your MPC. There are some expansions exclusive to the Live III that have to be downloaded.
