On my kick drum I have an EQ insert. On Q Links Padscene Ive set up Pad 5 (kick) by deleting the default Send 4 setting and assigning this to adjust the cutoff frequency in my EQ insert instead.
All works fine , but even though I save the project it always reverts back to the default “send” parameter.
Is this a bug or do I need to do something else within the project?
Thanks Michael

It'll work on Project 1. I was just telling you that there's 2 independent Project macro menus both with 16 knobs to be freely assigned to parameters across different tracks. The Track macros are just for 1 track.

You can also use the 64 pad grid FX Marcos. These are the same as the knob macros but it uses the 16 step buttons on the Live3 or the 64 pads on the Force - which is this macro feature came from.

Keep in mind all macros can assign 100s of parameters. I got up 636 on 1 macro. The system basically shuts down. So I'll have to do another test to see how many we can add & still keep the machine functional. I did this a Force with 2GB of RAM. A unit with more RAM may be able to handle more.

You can add parameters from all or multiple pad from a track to the same macro if you have Edit-All or Multiple pads selected.

Yes, in the past I’ve had a macro on a Track with EQ cutoff and overdrive and it worked fine, but this time I tried on pad scene as I had it on the kick drum. In a the future I’ll use Project 1 or 2 ad you suggest.
I’m using MPC Live 2 and MPC 61 which has more ram and just using Q links to automate EQ and Sprite on this project.

You can use the Track macro menu as well. The Pad Scene Macro can only assign 1 parameter at a time.
