Adding swing to a drum program

For some reason when I try to add swing to my drum program, the midi events do not move at all. In the timing, correct window, under events, I have selected ALL but nothing happens when I turn the swing knob. No movement on the grid at all. Can anyone tell me why?

Check if the box for Prefs > Sequencer > Q-Link Swing Control Applies TC Setting on Release is enabled.
