Good evening, I bought a used MPC One Plus. I loaded my samples onto the SD memory card. However, the internal disk is full. When I check, there are no samples or sounds there, only the plugin files in the instrument folder. Are those the ones taking up memory? Am I doing something wrong?
Is normal just have 384,9 mb of internale space?
Just upgraded to 3.7

Which plugin files? for example if it's fabric, kiss goodbye to 6GB immediately. Hype is another huge one, and anything else that involves multisamples.

Go to BROWSER > Places > User > Synths,
tap to select a plugin folder (ignore the AIR compoents and Generic folders)
hold down SHIFT > DELETE FILE
repeat for other folders,
Go to ACTIVATIONS
set your SD card as the new 'content download drive'
Redownload the plugins to your SD card.

I mean fx. All the synths are in sd. It could be an error, because the total storage is only 384,9 mb…. This is what is shawn in the drop down menu refeared to the memory/storage

Do you have the original factory content installed (demos, expansions etc)? This uses up a lot of the 4GB internal storage, plus maybe 1GB or more goes to the firmware and OS. I believe the max you'll ever have available on an MPC One 'out of the box' is 2GB. Might be some exports and temporary files floating around somewhere. Are you getting errors? Strictly speaking, 384 is not full, should be fine as you will use the SD card and USB drives for most stuff, especially on an original One model. If you do get errors when exporting or bouncing, remember to set your SD card as temporary storage location in Preferences.

The problem is this message: User: 16.6 MB free (of 384.9 MB).
It means that the internal storage is only 384.9 mb. This is impossible!

MPC-Tutor wrote:Okay, just spotted you have the one plus, so no, the internal storage should be 16GB, with around 7.8GB free for user content. Could you confirm exactly where you are seeing this message and what you are doing when it appears? Try to give as much detail as possible.

This information comes from the
drop-down menu accessed by swiping down, in the section dedicated to RAM and storage.
At this point, I click on the button dedicated to internal memory and the following message appears

DRIVE FREE SPACE
User: 16.6 MB free (of 384.9 MB) MPC: 111.5 GB free (of 116.1 GB)

(MPC is my SD card)

I have an MPC One Plus with the latest 3.7 update.

Yes, that should reflect the total user drive space, I'm on my Live 3 here and it says 'User: 73.2 GB free (of 79.2 GB)'. The Live 3 drive itself is 128GB, the user partition is 79.2GB.

Seems like you have an issue as I assume that should say 'of 7.8GB'. We need a One+ user to confirm. Another way to check is BROWSER > Places > User > SHIFT > DRIVE INFO
