Hi everyone. My question is this:

When I make a sequence, with a plugin track, and then I make a new sequence, it uses the same plugin track as the last sequence. I cannot change it. Why?

Second, if I have two sequences and want to make them a song, I can’t. It will only take one sequence. Why is that? I know I can use arrangement view and make a whole song out of one sequence. But, I’d rather make a sequence for the intro, sequence for the verse, sequence for the chorus, etc, and put it all into one song.

Does this make sense?

Thank you,

Chad

In v3, you're not supposed to, don't delete it 'cause that'll affect all other sequences in that project. If a track is used even once in a project, leave it there, move to a difference track.

In MPC3, track structure is global to the entire project (in MPC2, each sequence could have it's own unique track structure).

Now, each sequence represents a unique 'arrangement', i.e. a unique collection of MIDI & audio performances recorded using that project track structure. As lamp says, use song mode to combine multiple sequences (arrangements) into a song. I cover this in great depth in the MPC Bible.

Thank you. A few days ago, I took a course on UDemy.com for this MPC software. I recommend it.
