I can't seem to find an answer to this, mostly because all my searches bring up posts about using midi over a usb cable specifically. Kind of a tainted search query in my case.
I have my MPC Live mk1 connected to my Tascam M12 mixer mostly as an audio input device for my MPC.
I was hoping to send midi from the Tascam's midi out port to my modular rack (my machine's two output ports are occupied).
I don't see the Tascam as a midi output source when creating a new midi track, so I'm wondering if it's even possible, and if so, how to do it, before I waste cash on a midi box.
