Updated, reset preferences, restarted, loaded a factory project, played with new oscillators a bit, then opened a project from 3.8 that had clips in it. Got error message someotmg about more clip rows than supported. In the main menu “Clip Matrix” is totally gone no way to even get to it anywhere.

I refreshed my activations, Clip Launcher still appears as activated in MPC Pro Pack but it’s gone baby gone. Other pro pack stuff like Visual EQ is still there and works, and my paid plug-ins like Iona all work so it’s not like the machine thinks I don’t have Pro Pack. Restarted it again, still no Clip Matrix icon to tap.

All my projects use Clips so guess it’s back to 3.8 for me. This seems pretty damn obvious how did they screw this up so badly?

Kick in the nuts 3: downgraded to 3.7.1 and Clip Launching is still gone. Next on the list to try is deactivating Pro Pack then re activate it and see if it comes back, Rhen if that works try the same on3.9. And yes I reset preferences after downgrading to 3.7.1.

EDIT: SOLVED

I couldn’t edit the first post so here it is. All I had to do was deactivate the Clip Launching feature in Pro Pack activations, then re activate in 3.9. How stupid is that?

I wonder if other similar bugs remain to be discovered related to paywalled features. Air Utility worked fine, visual EQ, and the super warp feature were all fine and didn’t need to be reactivated.

I’ve gone through a few devices since I first bought Pro Pack to maybe this is related to the 3 activations limit. But again, that didn’t affect any other paid plugs or features I’ve noticed yet.
