I am loving the advancements of the new OS and also the G2 editions that just came out, but the only reason I am not getting the Key G2 is the lack of mouse support. If I am to use the MPC for more things I need to be able to edit recorded notes and other things with better precision and faster workflow. I think I can't be the only one who feels that way?

I second that motion - those solve 76,83% of my MPC mouse envy.

I use stylus’ on Kronos2, MPC Key61 and sometimes MPC XL.

I appriciate the idea to try and find a work around, but really it should not be nessesery to find work arounds when a mouse already exsist and would be the best solution.

And i did try pen a few times with other things and they are just not for me really. To each their own of course and it sound like it helped you so that is great. But for me it would be a janky hack and not really a solution.

Probably a dumb question as I think it was originally developed to create a 'Force mode' on MPCs, but will Hakai run on the Force?

I'd like to use the extra audio tracks especially, but swap projects between my Force and Live mk1, so ideally want to run the same fw on both machines.

The Force firmware has been dropped since 3.x.x when the pro pack became available. It made Force mode unnecessary. You can open Force Projects on the MPC.

But to answer your question it won't run on the Force. You can put Mockba firmware on your Force cause it will allow you to open more Plugin/Audio tracks like Hakai does.

The Force firmware is still being updated, its just run the same 3.9 OS like the MPC. The pro-pack didn't make the Force unnecessary as it still offers the best model for using the clip-matrix.
