akai force default tempo

Hi,

Just bought a force.

Nice looking and well built piece of kit. I think we're going to get along.

I'm having one little issue that I can't find any info on so was hoping someone here could help me out.

I set the default tempo to my preferred option in the settings.

Every time I turn the thing back on it flips back to 128 BPM.

Is this normal?

You have set the tempo up in project defaults?
I have set mine to 89bpm as default although i clock my Force externally.

Yep, preferences > project defaults > default tempo 88.00

I turn it off and switch it back on. The default tempo still reads 88.00 but the actual tempo is at 128.00

It's minor issue really, just seems odd.

Am I the only one?

Is my force trying to tell me it's time to switch to house?

It's a bug in 3.0.4, hopefully fixed in the next release.

I was hoping someone would say that.

I can wait for the updates.
