If you don't have a sample collection then 128gb or 256gb will hold you over for a *very* long time. If you've been collecting samples for 10+ years you might want a 1tb or 2tb drive. Thanks. I picked up a SATA III 240GB for $33 at Amazon with over 19k reviews and 4.5 stars. Had the correct screw holes. Went right in. Was not formatted correctly. Saw a video on Youtube that basically said that if you bought the drives by his company, they come formatted correctly. If you don't buy them from them, then he said "you are on your own on getting it formatted." Not much of a help video.
