Shannon's 1983 hit "Let the Music Play" is well known by Hi-NRG/Freestyle lovers as one of the most influential mainstream tracks with regards to electronic music. While many other amazing songs from the era endured regular rotation in underground clubs, this radio hit brought a simple rhythm featuring TB-303 and TR-808, and firmly placed itself in the top charts of the time.

In this rendition, I take only the studio vocal acapella and smash a deep electronic track around it, with pungent flavors of wave/trap and psybient/psychill.
