Line inputs are quieter on left channel than right (new unit

Hey
I've just got the akai force last week and tonight I midi'ed it to my maschine plus. All good there.
What is weird is the audio input from my maschine into the akai force is quieter on the left channel than the right.
I tried the normal 1+2 config and with pan center in force mixer.
Tried seperate channels channel 1 and channel 2 and with panning center on each, the left channel again was quieter. Also tried all left and all right etc.
Swapped brand new cables around and had the same result.
I made sure my maschine master was in proper equal stereo etc.
Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?

Welcome to the club
I just boost up the record gain on the side with lower volume & keep it moving.

Are you sure the inputs are on the same level?

Aha, I hadn't realised that the input gain was for "each channel".
I appear stupid this morning when I look at the back of the force in the daylight.

So each input can have their own gain level for different devices or mics or both at the same time.
Also you can use it to balance the signal from another stereo device that's has a uneven audio signal.
Plus you can use them to boost the gain to create saturation/distortion.
Separate input gains is a really great feature...if you know how to use them
