new Samsung SSD not showing up.

Hey there - I just got a new internal 2TB Samsung 870 EVO SSD and hooked it in to the Akai Force and the drive isn't showing up in standalone mode or on my pc in computer mode. I installed the same brand (slightly different model) into my Live 2 a while back and it worked fine. I don't have a SATA connector I can use to connect it straight to my pc to test the SSD that way.

Any ideas here? I unplugged it and everything looks normal. My PC does recognize the SD card I put into the Akai Force. Edit: Also tried using the Disk Management but the drive doesn't show up and also tried using the Samsung Magician software and nothing.

Edit 2: Now Disk Manager in Windows is letting me format the drive and assign it a letter so I'm letting it format now, hopefully it works. I'll update. Before the Disk Manager wouldn't let me format it.

I figured it out. I converted the disk to MBR using disk manager and then it let me format the drive. I did the long format which took 14 hours. Everything works fine now.
