CMOS Battery has died

Hi,

Does anyone know the location of the CMOS battery in the Force? My battery has died (clock falls behind when not connected to wi-fi and sometimes it generates plugin auth errors when wi-fi is connected). I would like to avoid the delay of going to a service centre.

I have had a look at disassembly, and getting the back plate off looks doable. If the battery is accessible from there then I will give it a try.

On the underside of the main processor board on one of the corners. The board with the power socket, ethernet socket etc on it.

I'm getting an error popup every time I boot the Force up now: error 400, about activating plugins and the system clock being inaccurate.

It's annoying but the plugins still work.

Is this the same (battery) issue?

I should probably get in to Akai about it.

I only get these issues if my wifi if off on the Force. Do you have the Force wifi on?

I'll check, but I think so.
