launch control xl

Hie,

I would like to purchase a launch control xl for my akai force. Once I have mapped the elements on the novation, will this be retained for any other project or will I have to redo a mapping for each project?

Set it up once & then save that project as an template & reuse for other new projects & change the name when save it.
