Just heard that Ni and Akai are teaming up. Force often gets left out of these cool upgrades. Anyone know if they will be including the Force in this partnership?

Also does anyone work with the Force and MPC machines? Was wondering if it is just as easy to arrange on the MCP's as it is in the force?

Late reply.

No one knows if NI stuff is coming to Force yet, but if I had to guess, I'd say yeah, sometime in the future. We have to wait and see what Akai says.

Arranging in the Force vs MPC can be really similar. I use a Force and the OG One, and with mpc3, the arranger works basically the same as on Force, except the Force has the clip launcher that you use to play into the arranger as opposed to building loops and stringing them in song mode.

When I arrange in mpc, I forego song mode all together, though, so for me they work practically the same.

The Force only started getting left out since late 2023 & we mainly missed out on stems & some plugins. Anyway, there's no reason why Akai wouldn't take Force users cash for NI, but we'll have to see how that's goes.

Re the arranger, the only advantage the Force has is being able to use clips, but the MPC arranger is better in that there's more than & the extra info you access to. So hopefully we get those improvements on the Force & the MPC finally gets the clip-matrix, but they may wait a bit & offer that when they drop the beta PC software in May.
