Homage and MPC expansions Air VS MPC?

Does anyone know what the difference is in the Homage expansion from Air VS MPC store?

MPC store has it for $40 has 100 patches Air has it for $15 300 patches??

This all works with Hype which comes with Force... do you need to somehow buy the MPC one for $40 to be able to run the Air one?

Also some of the same pluggins are available via the air site and mpc. Does it matter which one I buy it from is it all validated the same way or if I buy form Air its not gunna work on the Force?

From further research it doesn't look like you can buy plugins off of air's website for stand alone mpc is this true?

Two completely different products. One is a Hype preset pack, the other is the MPC version of Native Instrument's 'Homage' Kontakt instrument. You'll notice that they no longer sell the Hype homage preset pack on the MPC store, I assume to avoid confusion.

To my knowledge, the hype presets were never made compatible with the Force, as indicated on the Air product page. This is due to Akai's new DRM system that they added to their presets, something the Force doesn't support.
